Nurse Ha gives pediatric patients great care

Nurse. Le Thi Ha
Dear Don, John, Francoise, Mia, James and Julie, and James,

Thank you all for supporting Medrix as they work to save lives and improve the quality of life in Southeast Asia by providing medical resources, international health education, child heart surgeries, and safe water development. Your contributions funded a training course for Ms. Ha, a nurse who works in a large pediatric hospital in Vietnam. Thanks to your generous support she has now successfully completed the MEDRIX sponsored, Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI) course!

IMCI was developed by the World Health Organization in partnership with UNICEF as an international resource designed to train nurses in emerging countries on how to detect common childhood illnesses earlier rather than later.

At the beginning of the course, Nurse Ha said that her goal was to learn the danger signs and symptoms of severe illness among children in Central Vietnam, and this course has helped her reach her goal. She said that now she will be able to help severely ill children in quickly assessing their condition and assuring that her nursing team is working together to provide the best possible care for each child.

Thank you Don, John, Francoise, Mia, James and Julie, and James for you generosity!
