Ms. Yen is 35 years old and is the Head Nurse of the Pediatric Cardiovascular Department at Hue Central Hospital in Hue, Vietnam.

Ms. Yen is responsible for the care of many children suffering from serious heart-related illnesses. She works hard to care for the young patients in her department and helps the parents cope with the stresses and difficulties accompanying these life-threatening heart-related illnesses.

Nurse Anh is 36 years old and is the Head Nurse of the Intensive-care Unit (ICU) at Hue Central Hospital in Hue, Vietnam.

As Head Nurse, Ms. Anh is responsible for managing all the nurses and patients in the ICU.  She attended college for nursing and has been working at Hue Central Hospital for 14 years. With her responsibilities as the head nurse, she is always wanting to increase her knowledge and understanding of nursing care.

Truong Thi Phuong Dung is a 33-year-old nurse at Hue Central Hospital in Hue, Vietnam. She works in the Abdominal Emergency Surgery unit in the Pediatric Department. As a nurse, she cares for her child patients who come for emergency surgery from Thua-Thien Hue Province and the surrounding areas. Some of the patients travel up to 100 miles to receive care at Hue Central Hospital.

Dong Si is 48 and has been working at Hue Central Hospital in Central Vietnam for 11 years.  He is the Vice Chief of the Blood Transfusion Department in the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center at Hue Central Hospital. The last time Dong Si studied English was in secondary school.

He desires further study of medical terminology in English to improve his understanding of what he reads in medical books and to improve his ability to speak clearly with foreigners, especially those in medical and health-related fields.
