An entire community benefits from Nurse Tuy’s training!

Nurse Thuy is a nurse at a small medical center in a rural area in central Vietnam. She is a young professional and works in a small team of medical professionals. This team is responsible for all the children and families in the community who visit the medical center for health and medical purposes. It is essential for nurses to have the necessary skills and training to properly assess and provide expert nursing care for their patients.

Thank you  Margaret, Iona, Radu and Sean for sponsoring Ms. Linh to receive training in Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI), a course designated to train nurses, doctors and midwives in the early detection of childhood illnesses (she is pictured here receiving the course certificate). This course will provide Ms. Linh with the ability to correctly assess and classify a child’s illness, provide them with the correct care and guide the family in effective care of their child at home.
