Nurse Hai’s Training is Saving Childrens’ Lives!

Nurse Hai 1
Dear Sarah, Don, Dean and Julie, Dwayne and Terese, Eddie, Eileen, Elena and Shanen, and George,

Ms. Hai is a 45-year-old nurse practitioner at An Tay Clinic in Central Vietnam. She is married and has two kids. Ms. Hai is one of five medical professionals at the health clinic she works at. She is responsible for all the nursing care provided for the children and families in the An Tay community. Ms. Hai wants to learn how to properly diagnose illnesses so she can provide better care and treat her patients, while also understanding how the illnesses affect the lives of the patients and their families.

Thank you all for teaming up to sponsor Ms. Hai for her training in Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI)– a course designed to train nurses, doctors, and midwives in the early detection of childhood illnesses. This course will provide Ms. Hai with the ability to correctly diagnose a child’s illness, provide them with the correct care needed to treat the illness, and then guide the mothers in effective follow-up care of their child at home for a successful recovery.

Thank you so much for your generosity!
