Ms. Tran Thi My Hiep is a nurse practitioner at a health clinic in Phu Hoi in Vietnam. She is 45 years old and has been working at this clinic for 14 years. Ms. Hiep is responsible for all the children and families in the community who visit her clinic for health and medical purposes. Ms. Hiep wants to focus on her patients’ conditions and be able to communicate the effect of the illness on the lives of the patient and their families.
Thank you David, Howard, James and Julie, Jeffrey, Kandace, Lee, Luke and Ani, Peter, and Bill for teaming up to sponsor Ms. Hiep for training in Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI), a course designed to train nurses, doctors, and midwives in the early detection of childhood illnesses. This course will provide Ms. Hiep with the ability to correctly classify a child’s illness, provide them with the correct care and help needed, and guide the mothers in effective care of their child at home. Thank you so much for your generosity!
