Children receiving care in Hue, Vietnam are in good hands!

Ms. Duong Thi Loan is the Head Nurse of the Pediatric Hospital in Hue, Vietnam where she has been working for 23 years.  As Head Nurse, Ms. Loan is responsible for managing all the nurses in the 250-bed Pediatric Hospital. Families and parents travel from all over Central Vietnam to bring their children to this hospital to receive the care they so desperately need. Ms Loan has a very important job and is always looking for opportunities to receive additional education and training to improve nursing and patient care.

Thank you Neil, Patricia, Nicole, Judith, Pooja, and C T Corp for teaming up to sponsor Head Nurse Loan to attend the MEDRIX Nursing Assessment Training Course. This course equipped Ms. Loan to interview, assess, diagnose and evaluate her child patients. Her nursing assessment combined with the medical assessment allows the children to receive the care they need to improve their health. She was also provided with a stethoscope to listen to the lungs, heart and abdomen for better assessment.
